HOLA!!!
So I have obviously not been the best blogger!!! But after getting reminded (harassed) by my hubby and my brother on why I haven't posted, I finally decided to sit down and POST!!!
For the past few weeks there is really nothing to report. I didn't lose any weight, but I have been working on upping my game on cardio. I hoping I am just gaining some muscle as I still ate really good! With a few weeks of no weight loss I have to say I was getting discouraged, but I knew I couldn't give up.
Then, this past week I hopped onto the scale and do you want to know what is said?! I lost 3 pounds that week! YESSSSSS!!!!!!
So now that I am not so discouraged I have a little more ambition again to set some goals!!! While I was not losing, I still tried hard to push myself, so I got up to 5 days a week doing cardio, yay me! (this is a feat, just FYI)
This weeks goals are:
1. Keep doing 5 days a week cardio, push myself to 25 minutes on the elliptical.
2. My husband will be happily surprised for this one...I am going to try & push myself to run. I HATE, hate, HATE to run! But he did this program to where he is getting up to running again (as he stopped running with the crazy school schedule he had) and it slowly got him up to running again. I want to be able to run with him so I am going to try it!
3. I have made a list of things I can and cannot eat. I have it at my desk at work as well as on the refridgerator at home.
This really doesn't sound like a lot, but I hoping it will do me well and to get me to live a healthier life style.
Wish me luck!!!
Rachel
So, I have the worst time ever losing weight which is why my son is now 2 1/2 and I still having lost ANY of the weight I gained while pregant (which was sadly ALOT). The Goal: 50 pounds by New Year's Day. Lets do this.

Weeks 2 and 3, A little "burnt" out.
Hello again!! Well I didn't post last week (mainly cause I forgot..) but here I am again.
I don't have anything really to report, I haven't lost any weight in the past 2 weeks! LAME!!
I did really good eating though on my vacation, what was bad was that I got really sunburned, I mean BAD sunburned. So bad that I blistered on my legs and was swollen for like 4 days. It wasn't good. So with that being said, I couldn't work out. I ate decent, but I could have done better. So here we go, week 4.
Week 4 Goal: Cardio, Cardio, Cardio!!!
I want to really step up my game on excercize this week. None of this maybe 3 times a week stuff. I want to get up to 4 days a week and really make it meaningful! That means to me is that don't just go for a 25 min walk. I want to burn some fat so I need to walk for at least 45 minutes and then I am going to push myself on the elliptical.
So as of now, I am off of bread, white flour & last week I got off of milk (even though you all didn't know that). I got off of milk for one main reason, it makes me feel TERRIBLE! I must be slightly lactose intolerant or something, but I am off of that & have replaced it w/ Almond milk, if anything.
So wish me luck & I hope to bring you some great news next week! Thanks!

Week one.... BOOYAH!!!
So this past week I quit eating bread and it actually wasn't that bad. I was sad when I wanted to have a tuna sandwich and realized I couldn't have the sandwich part.. I improvised and made a wrap. It was almost as good!
But this week was a super SUCCESS!!! Totals in......
Total Weight Loss: 9.1 pouds!
Total Cardio Time: 122 minutes (Way better than I have EVER done, by the way)
I am so happy!!! I know this past week a lot of the weight lost was most likely water retention, but I am still happy as I don't ever want to see those pounds again!
NEW GOAL FOR THE WEEK: No white grains.
This just means no white flour or white rice. If am going to make a wrap, it needs to be on whole wheat, if I cook rice, it has to be brown.
This coming week is going to be hard as I will be in California on vacation for most of the week. So will have to try really hard especially since I won't have the work out time I need. Granted one day will be spent at Disneyland w/ a toddler, so I will get my cardio FOR SURE this day. But other than that, I am going to have to really work hard.
Thanks everyone for all of your uplifting comments last week! I am grateful for the support & I know because of it, it will make this be more successful.
Thanks again & stay tuned next week!

No More Bread, WHAT?!?
Well I have decided to make my weight loss public. I am not proud to be overweight at all, and actually would prefer the world didn't know I was!! But I have had the thought come to me quite often to create a blog about it because this way I am not only having to prove to my self that I can do it, but also I don't want anyone else out there to know I am a failure. So here it goes.....
Week ONE- No bread
This is a hard one for me. I love BREAD any kind just about. But I know that if I just kick this out, I will lose weight faster. I learned this before when I lost about 40 pounds before my wedding 4+ years ago. So I know how to lose weight...I just don't like to. The yeast in bread causes a lot of bloating, so just kicking this will help slim my stomach in just weeks!
Please join in on this challenge with me & let me know how you are doing!!! Each week I will add a new challenge so hopefully by the end of the 25 weeks I will have changed my complete diet to something so much healthier and I will feel great!
Stay tuned weekly and I will post my weight loss and how I did.
Thanks for your support!
